I’m Vanessa, a mom of five and the heart behind Ivy & Elder.

I wanted clean, fragrance-free hair care for my daughters’ waves and curls. They wanted products that actually worked. I knew if I couldn’t find both, nothing was going to stick.

That search led me to Ivy & Elder. When the opportunity came to carry the brand forward, it felt aligned in every way.

I absolutely love these products! I have long, fine hair and love that these are clean, unscented products that are safe for my crazy allergies. I started with Wear the Wind and didn't think I needed anything else. But when Willow Talk came back in stock it was a game changer! It is now my favorite product as it makes hair healthier and stronger while conditioning and adding slip. I love that they don't contain silicones and I don't have static issues. I'm hooked!

I love this product. I’ve been using it since it first got launched and I haven’t found anything that works as well. Recently I found a new way to fix my now longer, fine, curly hair with it and now my hair looks washed every day. This is especially good in winter when it takes a long time to dry.
